I've done this cartoon a few times before. It's the standard hurricane-with-an-issue-labeled-on-it cartoon. It sits up there in the stereotypical lexicon all editorial cartoonists use, such as the Hindenburg, Jaws movie poster, Titanic, politician shaking someone upside down, train wreck, car on blocks, falling over a cliff, etc... It's probably a good idea to use these metaphors sparingly.
