cam051608_anticipationCOL.jpgIt feels like everything is moving in slow motion when it comes to Myanmar. Not to dismiss the recent earthquake tragedy in China, but China does have the resources in both manpower and finances to act quickly. Plus, maybe it's my cynical nature, but I see a lot of nations lined up like 747s at O'Hare Airport, trying to prove who is China's best friend. Let's face it, it makes good business sense to show China how much you care. Myanmar is a different matter. There is no potential future financial payoff. The only payoff is saving lives.
