Leave it to me to turn this issue around and throw it back at the Liberals. After years of the scandal-laden Chretien Liberals, the Conservatives looked pretty squeaky clean -- that is, until the latest allegations by Chuck Cadman's widow. According to her, a couple of representatives from the Conservative Party offered Mr. Cadman a bribe in exchange for his vote to upset the minority Liberal government. This is serious stuff, if true, and almost reminds me of the sneaky Liberals when they were in power. Of course, as details emerge, I'll be more balanced in my criticism. But I just had to take another shot at the Liberals, who are sure to get on their moral high horse to milk this issue for all its worth. How soon we forget.
