Like most Canadians, I find the recent events in Ottawa despicable. The shadiness of an unholy alliance of the NDP, BQ and Liberals, while constitutionally within the rules, is nothing more than a cheap power grab, ostensibly to save us from Stephen Harper. The reason for this remains unclear, except that it come right on the heels of budget cuts to the opposition parties. Coincidence? I think not.
It is a dirty, underhanded deal and most Canadians are aware of that fact. It was struck up in some back room instead of at the voting booths. Furthermore, it decimates the concept of democracy in Canada and further erodes public opinion of politicians.
That said, politicians know how to manipulate the population the same way cowboys know how to herd cattle. Immediately following the coup, Dion will offer a federal stimulus package worth billions. Quebec can hardly wait, as they
are first in line for their share of transfer payments. You see, after you sleep with the prostitute, you have to pay her. I'm not calling Quebecers prostitutes, but the BQ certainly seem to wear fishnet stockings.
Other Canadians will turn a blind eye when they get their money too and all this will go away. Dion calls it a stimulus package, but it's a bribe, pure and simple.
Money and power, this is what it's all about. Forget all the sanctimonious crap that comes out of Dion's mouth. It's all just theatrics designed to convince you that his motives are pure.
Say goodbye to your ethics, morals and conscience and say hello to the Liberal/NDP coalition. Go back to sleep, Canada and don't spend all that bribe money in one place.

Your writing is amazing. I really like your style and taste. I shall read your blog more often in the future. BTW, most of your fashion picks will also be on my wish list, for sure. I don’t know whether you like (this), either.
