Throne Speech

Just before the election, Prime Minister Harper was claiming that Canada would not experience the same economic woes as the U.S., which was, as we all know, a half truth. I pointed this out then at the time, so don't blame me for always being right.  The language has changed and will continue to evolve over the course of the year. Now, it's a "recession," and Harper will let you know when it's a "depression," about a month after you know it. It's like the old lady who turns on her signal light after she merges into your lane. Thanks for the heads-up.  We're in deep do-do. How deep is anyone's guess, but you can count on Harper to let you know when we're screwed when we are, in fact, royally so.
