Serpent

This year has truly been a wild ride in the stock market. Most cartoonists deal with this by drawing a roller coaster as the metaphor. I chose a serpent. This really is a great unknown. The pundits continue to be perplexed and, for the most part, have been astoundingly wrong about what's next. The truth of the matter is, like the two fishermen in this cartoon, they have no idea what they are looking at. The underlying truth is that it is big and it has the potential to bring them to their destruction.
