The "R" Word

In light of the financial market crisis, Pundits have been choking on the "R" word for months now. They think "recession" is the worst of their nightmares. I think the "D" word is plausible and there is plenty of indication that the markets are going to continue their free fall well into November and probably into February. I also think there are some very angry people who have lost homes, businesses, and employment -- all because some Wall Street suits wanted to be greedy. Once the full effect of this hits home, people will want changes made so that it can't happen again. The anger is just starting to be heard, but wait until that anger is fueled by hunger. It will give new meaning to what the "R" word really means.
